• Started his career playing rugby at the junior level for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the S. G. Ball Cup at 19 years old…Eventually made a move to the Western Clydesdales in the Queensland Rugby League Cup…Was considered too big to play professional rugby, which led to his NFL transition.

PERSONAL

• A native of Bankstown, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, Gray moved to Fort Myers, Fla., in January of 2026 for the IPP program…Members of the program were invited to train both on the field and in the classroom for 10 weeks at X3 Performance and Physical Therapy before showing their skills in front of scouts.
• At 22, became the second youngest Australian to earn an NFL contract behind Eagles offensive lineman Jordan Mailata after signing with the Giants…Played for the same junior rugby team as Mailata, who he views as a role model.
• Sister, Taneisha, plays professional rugby in the NRLW for the Sydney Roosters.
