The Giants took the field at MetLife Stadium for the first time Friday night for Fan Fest.

With less than a week to go before the first preseason game, the Giants are gearing up for their first competition against another squad. Daniel Jones spoke to reporters Friday afternoon ahead of Giants Fan Fest, presented by Wendy's, and it sounds as if the players are just as excited as the fans for the first game action of the season.

"I'm excited for those opportunities," said Jones. "I think, like I've said, there's a lot we need to continue to work on and keep making progress on. The preseason's an opportunity to do that and a game situation gives you an opportunity to prepare for a game – obviously it's not the same level of game-planning, but we will prepare for that and go out and try to execute in a live situation. I think that's a good opportunity for us and I'm excited for it as well as our whole group."

As part of the Fan Fest at MetLife Stadium, the Blue-White Scrimmage gave the offense and defense a sample of game conditions. Here are the top plays from the evening:

With all of that said, here are the top plays from the Blue-White Scrimmage:

TOUCHDOWNS

* Facing a 4th-and-goal from the 1, Daniel Jones found rookie TE Andre Miller in the end zone for a touchdown.

* On the next series, Tyrod Taylor led the offense down the field and connected with WR Richie James on 4th-and-goal from the 5.

TAKEAWAYS

* After Darren Evans tipped a pass in the end zone, Yusuf Corker came down with the ball and returned it 60+ yards to set the offense up on the other side of the field.

*Michael Jacquet III punched the ball out of a receiver's hands on the 1-yard line, which was then picked up by Jarrod Wilson and returned the other way.

OTHER TOP PLAYS

*Jones connected with rookie Wan'Dale Robinson for a huge gain on a 3rd-and-long early in the scrimmage. A few plays later, the young QB used his legs to gain 20 yards on a 4th-and-2, setting the offense up in the red zone.

*WR Keelan Doss had a couple of catches during the scrimmage, including a big 29-yard reception from Davis Webb to set the offense up inside the red zone.
