Evan Engram and Dalvin Tomlinson both have been having a breakout rookie season, and has been named to the midseason All-Rookie Team

In a year where 14 tight ends were selected in April's 2017 NFL Draft, Evan Engram is emerging as the most productive.

Engram was the third tight end off the board when the Giants selected the Ole Miss product with the 23rd overall pick. Halfway through his rookie campaign, Engram leads all first-year tight ends in receptions (34), receiving yards (412), touchdowns (4) and receiving yards per game (51.5). If you include wide receivers, Engram ranks second among all rookie pass-catchers in receiving yards, trailing only Pittsburgh playmaker JuJu Smith-Schuster (424).

Engram's first half production landed him on Monday Morning Quarterback’s (MMQB) Midseason All-Rookie Team.

MMQB's Connor Orr writes:

"Prepare to hear a lot about Engram over the next few weeks. With Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall sidelined, the Giants have been dotting Engram all over the field in hopes that he can stretch out their offense. While he wasn't the player the Giants needed in the first round of the draft, he may end up being the most productive rookie tight end this year by a sizable margin."

The injuries to Beckham, Marshall and the recently-returned Sterling Shepard have thrust Engram into a more prominent role in the Giants' offense. He leads the club in every major receiving category, and has become a reliable weapon for Eli Manning, scoring a touchdown in three consecutive games. A fifth receiving score would tie Bob Tucker's franchise record (5) set in 1970 for most touchdown receptions by a rookie tight end.

Orr's team also includes Giants' second round-pick Dalvin Tomlinson. The Alabama product is second among all rookie defensive linemen with 22 combined tackles.

Here is Orr's entire Midseason All-Rookie Team:
