East Rutherford, NJ – The New York Giants have selected Coach Kelli Hudson of Keansburg High School in Keansburg, NJ as the High School Girls Flag Football Coach of the Week for week 5 of the 2026 season.

The High School Girls Flag Football Coach of the Week Award is part of the Giants' continuing effort to support local high school flag football programs. Each week during the high school girls flag football season, the Giants will select one area high school head coach as the Coach of the Week winner. The selection is based on the coach's continuing commitment towards promoting youth football, developing motivated student-athletes and contributing overall to their community.

In recognition of Coach Hudson's selection as Coach of the Week, a $2,000 check from The Giants Foundation will be given to the Keansburg High School girls flag football program. Coach Hudson will also receive a certificate of recognition signed by Giants Head Coach John Harbaugh and will be honored at a 2026 Giants preseason home game.

Coach Hudson has led the Keansburg Titans girls flag football program since they were created back in 2023 and continues to be an integral part of growing the sport in the Shore Conference. As head coach, Hudson has been responsible for introducing the game of flag football to countless student athletes while cementing the Titans as a top competitor in the conference. Despite opening the 2026 season 0-3, Hudson's squad came back to win their first of the season in a 13-12 upset over top-ranked Middletown South. This win sparked a three-game winning streak in which the Titans have outscored their opponents 92-12, including two shutout victories.

Hudson has committed herself to both the Titans and the Shore Conference as she helps run the annual Shore Conference High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff event each year and is a valuable resource to her fellow colleagues. Coach Hudson, alongside Coach John Bird, is creating an opportunity for the girls to not only dominate in a sport that they love but also provide them with the confidence to succeed both on and off the field.

Under her leadership, the Lady Titans have developed into one of the top teams in the Shore Conference. Most recently, she guided the team to an impressive victory over the conference's #1-ranked, previously undefeated team—an achievement that reflects her commitment and vision.
