Notes and statistics from the Giants' 26-3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Candlestick Park.
*The Giants won their second game in a row and improved to 4-2 entering their home game next week against NFC East rival Washington.
*It was the Giants' most one-sided victory over the 49ers since an NFC Divisional Playoff Game on Jan. 4, 1987 and the most convincing regular-season triumph over San Francisco since a 48-14 rout on Nov. 17, 1963.
*San Francisco's three points were the fewest by a Giants opponent since a 21-3 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 13, 2010. That was also the last regular-season game in which the Giants did not allow a touchdown. They did not give up a touchdown in their 24-2 victory over Atlanta in last season's NFC Wild Card Game.
*The Giants did not allow a point in the second half of a regular-season game for the first time since that victory over the Vikings.
*The Giants' defense held San Francisco to 80 rushing yards, 115.8 yards less than the Niners' league-leading total entering the game. The Giants have held their opponents to fewer than 85 rushing yards in four of their last five games.
*The Giants sacked quarterbacks Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick six times for 48 yards in losses. It was the Giants' highest sack total since they had six in the 2011 season finale vs. Dallas.
*The Giants' offense did not allow a sack for the third consecutive game, the team's longest streak since they went five games without surrendering a sack from Nov. 7-Dec. 10, 2010. The last time the Giants played in San Francisco, in the 2011 NFC Championship Game, Eli Manning was sacked six times.
*The offense also did not have a turnover for the second time this season (also at Carolina). The Giants have won their last nine regular-season games, plus three postseason games, in which they did not commit a turnover.
*This was the first time the Giants allowed no sacks and did not have a turnover in the same game since Oct. 16, 2011, a 27-24 victory over Buffalo.
*The 49ers' 14 first downs tied them with Tampa Bay for the fewest by a Giants opponent this season.
*The Giants were penalized only twice, their lowest total since they had two penalties at Washington on Jan. 2, 2011. Their 20 penalty yards were their fewest since they had 15 vs. Detroit on Oct. 17, 2010.
*The victory was Tom Coughlin's 78th in the regular season as the Giants' head coach. That broke a tie with Bill Parcells and moved Coughlin into sole possession of second place on the franchise's career list. He trails only Hall of Famer Steve Owen, who had 153 victories from 1930-53.
*Coughlin is 6-1 in his career vs. San Francisco, including 5-1 in the regular season and a victory in the 2011 NFC Championship Game.
*Manning completed 15 of 28 passes for 193 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. His streak of consecutive regular-season 200-yard games ended at 24, the second-longest streak in history. Hall of Famer Dan Fouts had a 45-game streak from 1980-83.
*Manning's 193 yards increased his career total to 29,351. That moved him past Jake Plummer (29,253) and into 38th place on the NFL's career list.
*This was Manning's 125th consecutive start. He is 73-52 (.584).
*Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries. Coupled with his 200-yard game last week vs. Cleveland, Bradshaw has consecutive 100-yard games for the second time in his career and the first time since Oct. 17 (133 vs. Detroit) and Oct. 25 (126 at Dallas), 2010. The 49ers hadn't allowed anyone to rush for 100 yards in their previous 22 home games.
*The Giants are 10-0 when Bradshaw rushes for at least 100 yards.
*Bradshaw increased his career rushing total to 3,666 yards. That moved him past Hall of Famer Frank Gifford (3,609) and into seventh place on the Giants' career list.
*Bradshaw's 27 rushing attempts were the second-highest total of his career, exceeded only by the 30 carries he had last week vs. Cleveland.
*The Giants intercepted three Alex Smith passes, two by Antrel Rolle and one by Prince Amukamara, neither of whom had a pick this season entering the game. It was the second time this season the Giants had three picks in a game. Stevie Brown, Michael Boley and Jayron Hosley all intercepted passes at Carolina on Sept. 20.
*Rolle was the first Giant with two interceptions in a game since Corey Webster vs. Buffalo on Oct. 16, 2011. It was the first two-interception game of Rolle's career.
*Jason Pierre-Paul had two of the Giants' sacks and raised his season total to a team-high 3.5. Mathias Kiwanuka and Jacquian Williams picked up their first sacks of the season and Linval Joseph got his second. Adrian Tracy had his first career sack.
*Lawrence Tynes kicked four field goals - from 34, 30, 22 and 32 yards. He also had a 40-yarder blocked. It was the third time this season Tynes has kicked at least four field goals in a game. He kicked four vs. Tampa Bay on Sept. 16 and five at Carolina four days later.
*Tynes' 18 points increased his Giants career total to 513. He is the third player to score more than 500 points in a Giants uniform, joining Pete Gogolak (646) and Brad Daluiso (536).
*Tynes' four field goals increased his Giants total to 106. That moved him past Joe Danelo (104) and into third place on the franchise's career list behind Gogolak (126) and Daluiso (123).
*The blocked field goal was the first against the Giants since Oct. 16, 2011, when Buffalo's Alex Carrington batted down a Tynes attempt.
*David Wilson's 66-yard kickoff return was the longest by a Giant since Domenik Hixon had a 68-yarder at New Orleans on Oct. 18, 2009.
*Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks started after missing three games with foot and knee injuries. Nicks caught three passes for 44 yards.
*Tackle David Diehl returned to action after missing three games with a knee injury, but did not start. It was the first time in his 10-year career that Diehl played as a substitute. He had started all 142 regular-season games (including the first two this season) and 11 postseason games in which he played. Diehl was used an an extra tight end. Sean Locklear started his fourth consecutive game at right tackle, the position manned by Diehl before he was injured vs. Tampa Bay on Sept. 16.
*Amukamara, Rolle and Michael Boley led the Giants with six tackles apiece (all unassisted)….Justin Tyron had three special teams tackles.
*San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh lost a replay challenge with 3:39 remaining in the second quarter. After Bradshaw ran for three yards, the 49ers claimed he had lost the ball and they recovered the fumble. When the officials ruled Bradshaw was down by contact, Harbaugh challenged the call. After review, referee John Parry upheld the ruling on the field. Opposing coaches are 1-1 this year and 24-34 on replay challenges in Tom Coughlin's nine seasons as Giants coach.
Coughlin has yet to challenge a call this season.
*The Giants' inactive players were safety Kenny Phillips (knee), defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quadriceps), running back Andre Brown (concussion), offensive lineman James Brewer, defensive end Adewale Ojomo, wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan and tight end Adrien Robinson.
*The Giants game captains were Osi Umenyiora and former 49er David Baas.
*San Francisco's inactive players included former Giant Brandon Jacobs, who has not played since suffering a knee injury in the preseason. Another ex-Giant, Mario Manningham, led the 49ers with five catches for 72 yards.
