Inactives: Who's in, who's out for Giants at Eagles

INACTIVES-2026

The following players will be inactive for the Week 9 matchup between the Giants (4-2-1) and Eagles (2-6) in Philadelphia.

GIANTS INACTIVES

  • TE Thomas Fidone II
  • CB Colton Hood
  • OT Marcus Mbow
  • DL C.J. Okoye
  • CB Nikko Reed
  • OL Josh Sills
  • RB Cam Skattebo

EAGLES INACTIVES

  • LB Jihaad Campbell
  • DB Michael Carter II
  • WR Britain Covey
  • OT Lane Johnson
  • CB Jonathan Jones
  • WR DeVonta Smith
  • WR Dontayvion Wicks

The Giants, who returned from the bye week, had just two players with game designations on their final injury report. Running back Cam Skattebo was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury, while wide receiver/return specialist Charlie Jones (hand) was questionable.

The Giants will also play at least the next four games without running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., who was placed on injured reserve. Tracy injured his hamstring in the second quarter of the victory in Houston, which improved the Giants' record to 4-2-1 and extended their lead in the NFC East.

To bolster the running back room, the Giants signed Gregory Desrosiers off the Chargers' practice squad and elevated Phil Mafah – along with outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot – for Sunday's game. They also added quarterback Jake Haener back to the practice squad after waiving him earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are on track to start their third different quarterback. Joe Milton III will make his first career start three weeks after signing with the Eagles' practice squad. He replaces Tanner McKee, who took over for Jalen Hurts. Milton's last appearance was against the Giants in the 2025 season finale as a member of the Cowboys.

Philadelphia had previously ruled out six players: linebacker Jihaad Campbell (hamstring/quad), defensive back Michael Carter (abdomen), cornerback Jonathan Jones (hamstring), and wide receivers Britain Covey (Knee), DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle). McKee was also questionable with a rib injury.

On Saturday, the Eagles elevated running back Elijah Mitchell and safety Cole Wisniewski from the practice squad.
