Jaxson Dart has been nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week following the Giants' 34-10 victory over the Raiders.
Dart completed 22 of 30 passes for 207 yards and ran for two touchdowns. Dart now has 22 total touchdowns (13 passing, nine rushing) in 11 starts. With one game to go, the No. 25 overall draft pick trails only Charlie Conerly (27 in 1948) and Daniel Jones (26 in 2019) for the most total touchdowns in Giants history by a rookie quarterback.
According to NFL Research, Dart moved ahead of Buffalo's Josh Allen (eight in 2018) for third-most rushing touchdowns by a rookie quarterback in NFL history. Carolina's Cam Newton holds the record with 14 in 2011. Next is San Francisco's Billy Kilmer with 10 in 1961.
The Giants' top four draft picks in the 2025 class have now been nominated at least once for the weekly award.
Dart (No. 25 overall pick) was nominated after each of his first six starts, which led to him being named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Running back Cam Skattebo (fourth round) was nominated three times before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in Week 8. Defensive tackle Darius Alexander (third round) was up for the award in Week 12, and outside linebacker Brian Burns (No. 3 overall pick) was nominated in Week 15.
Fans can vote for Dart at nfl.com/rookies and on the NFL Mobile app through Thursday at 11 a.m. ET to determine who will bring home the Rookie of the Week championship belt for Week 17. The winner will be announced Thursday on NFL.com.
After the regular season, six players will be nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Year honors.
