10 a.m. -- OLB Brian Burns was voted to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. It is his third career selection, first with the Giants, and he will be a starter for the NFC squad. Burns also made the Pro Bowl in 2021 and 2022 as a member of the Carolina Panthers. Through 16 weeks, Burns' 15 sacks are tied with Hall of Famers Michael Strahan (1998) and Lawrence Taylor (1989) for seventh-most in a single season in Giants history. Burns will have two more games to become just the third Giant ever to reach 20 sacks in a season. Only Strahan (22.5 in 2001) and Taylor (20.5 in 1986) have accomplished the feat. Meanwhile, Burns' 20 tackles for loss are the most by a Giant since Jason Pierre-Paul recorded 23 in the 2011 championship season.

5:51 p.m. -- The Giants released P Cameron Johnston from the practice squad a week after he punted in place of Jamie Gillan, who missed Week 15 due to a knee injury on his kicking leg. Gillan returned this past Sunday against the Vikings. DL Elijah Chatman and K Ben Sauls reverted to the practice squad after being elevated for Week 16. Making his NFL debut, Sauls made both of his field goals from 27 and 39 yards in addition to a lone extra point attempt. The undrafted rookie also handled kickoffs and booted the first one out of bounds for a penalty to start the game.
12:40 p.m. -- Interim HC Mike Kafka said the Giants are "still waiting for some of the imaging and stuff to come back from the docs" on the injury front. LT Andrew Thomas (hamstring), CB Cor'Dale Flott (knee), C John Michael Schmitz (hand), and DL D.J. Davidson (neck) all went down with injuries on Sunday. Rookie Marcus Mbow stepped in for Thomas and Austin Schlottmann replaced Schmitz on the offensive line, which was already playing without LG Greg Van Roten due to the birth of his child.
"I'd say the majority of those guys are going to be day-to-day," Kafka said of the injured players. I wouldn't rule anybody out today. But we're still waiting on some imaging and some testing."
Meanwhile, OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux was placed on injured reserve on Saturday, ending his fourth season with 2.5 sacks and five tackles for loss in 10 games. Thibodeaux has not played since Week 10 due a shoulder injury.
"He was working really hard, and I know he wanted to get back for the group," Kafka said Monday. "Just medically and just talking with him, he really wasn't there yet to be back for the last couple games, so it just didn't make sense to put him at risk for potentially a longer-term injury and kind of redoing it. So, he battled. Everyone was working hard, and he was working hard to get back, but it'll just be after the season."

7:23 p.m. -- The Raiders took the Texans down to the wire but were ultimately defeated 23-21 in Houston, their ninth loss in a row to fall to 2-13 on the season. RB Ashton Jeanty, the No. 6 overall draft pick, had a career-high 188 yards from scrimmage and became the fourth rookie in NFL history to have a 50-yard rush TD and 50-yard receiving TD in the same game (Clinton Portis, Jimmy Thomas, and HOF Gale Sayers).
3:59 p.m. -- The Giants also lost their ninth consecutive game and fell to 2-13 with a 16-13 loss to the Vikings. OLB Brian Burns had two sacks, one of which led to fumble return touchdown by S Tyler Nubin, while the offense netted just 13 passing yards.
