Brian Burns wins George Young-Ernie Accorsi Media Good Guy Award

BRIAN-BURNS

Outside linebacker Brian Burns has been elected winner of the 25th annual George Young-Ernie Accorsi Media Good Guy Award by the New York Giants Chapter of the Professional Football Writers of America for his professionalism and availability during the 2025 season.

The award is named for the two former general managers of the Giants and given annually to recognize a Giants player for his consistent and outstanding cooperation with the writers who cover the team on a daily basis.

Recently elected to his third career Pro Bowl, Burns has a career-high 16.5 sacks, tying Jason Pierre-Paul (2011) for fourth in a single season in Giants history. Burns was also elected a team captain for the season.

Wide receiver Darius Slayton won the award in 2024, when he was the Giants' club winner for Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
