Tuesday, Dec. 30

5:33 p.m. -- The Giants signed CB Myles Purchase to the practice squad.

12:30 p.m. -- The Cowboys released former All-Pro CB Trevon Diggs ahead of the final game of the season. Diggs played in last week's win over the Commanders, only his eighth game of the season. After being named to back-to-back Pro Bowls in 2021 and 2022, Diggs has played in just 21 total games over the last three seasons.

9:42 a.m. -- Cowboys Owner/General Manager Jerry Jones went on his final weekly Tuesday radio show on 105.3 The Fan and confirmed QB Dak Prescott will start on Sunday. However, Jones indicated that Prescott may not play the whole game. "How we use Dak, where we use him, those kinds of things, let's just make that a part of the game plan that we won't talk about." Jones said. If/when Prescott is removed from the game, the Giants will see QB Joe Milton in action for the first time. The second-year quarterback has appeared in three games this season, his first in Dallas, and has completed eight of 11 passes for 110 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

ELI-MANNING-HOF-FINALIST

9:36 a.m. -- Eli Manning has reached the doorstep of Canton. The legendary Giants quarterback was announced as one of 15 Finalists in the Modern-Era Player category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. The slate of candidates will be considered when the Hall of Fame's selection committee meets prior to Super Bowl LX. The Class of 2026 will be unveiled publicly during "NFL Honors on Feb. 5. Manning, who is one of only six players to earn multiple Super Bowl MVP awards, was also a Finalist for the Class of 2025.

9 a.m. -- QB Jaxson Dart has been nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week following the Giants' 34-10 victory over the Raiders. Dart completed 22 of 30 passes for 207 yards and ran for two touchdowns. Dart now has 22 total touchdowns (13 passing, nine rushing) in 11 starts. With one game to go, the No. 25 overall draft pick trails only Charlie Conerly (27 in 1948) and Daniel Jones (26 in 2019) for the most total touchdowns in Giants history by a rookie quarterback. According to NFL Research, Dart moved ahead of Buffalo's Josh Allen (eight in 2018) for third-most rushing touchdowns by a rookie quarterback in NFL history. Carolina's Cam Newton holds the record with 14 in 2011. Next is San Francisco's Billy Kilmer with 10 in 1961. The Giants' top four draft picks in the 2025 class have now been nominated at least once for the weekly award.

Monday, Dec. 29

4 p.m. -- TE Zach Davidson and RB Dante Miller reverted to the practice squad after both were elevated for Week 17. Davidson played seven snaps on offense against the Raiders while Miller was a gameday inactive.

Sunday, Dec. 28

6:56 p.m. -- QB Jaxson Dart ran for two touchdowns, CB Deonte Banks returned a kickoff for another score, and the New York Giants snapped a nine-game losing streak with a 34-10 road victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, who extended theirs to 10 consecutive outings. Mike Kafka picked up his first victory since becoming interim head coach.

WR Wan'Dale Robinson entered the second-to-last game of the season needing 99 receiving yards to reach 1,000 for the first time in his career. He nearly got there in the first half alone and finished the afternoon with 11 catches, tied for the most in his four-year career, and 113 yards, his third-highest total. That milestone has been reached 27 times now by 13 different Giants in franchise history. He also became the second player in franchise history to multiple 90-catch seasons. The other is Odell Beckham Jr.

The 3-13 Giants wrap up the 2025 season with a visit from the Cowboys, who improved to 7-8-1 with a 30-23 victory over the Commanders on Christmas Day. The Giants lost the first leg of the season series in a wild overtime finish at AT&T Stadium in Week 2.
