🏈 Game Balls: Key performances from Week 4

SKATTEBO-BANKS-LOCKER-ROOM

The New York Giants picked up their third win of the season as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals, 36-24, at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants were holding on to a six-point lead as the Cardinals faced a fourth-and-goal from the four-yard line with 11 seconds remaining. The defense came through with yet another big play, this time from Deonte Banks. The fourth-year cornerback intercepted Jacoby Brissett at the two-yard line and returned it 98 yards for a game-sealing touchdown.

Here are some notable performances from the Giants' Week 4 win.

DEONTE-BANKS

CB Deonte Banks

As mentioned above, Banks put the finishing touches on the team's big Week 4 win with a 98-yard interception return for a touchdown as time expired. While that was his biggest play, it was far from his only one. Banks finished the game with four passes defensed along with four tackles (one solo).

MALIK-NABERS

WR Malik Nabers

Nabers had his first breakout performance of 2026, catching six passes for a game-high 112 yards and his first touchdown of the season.

ARVELL-REESE

LB Arvell Reese

For the second consecutive week, the No. 5 overall pick dominated. Reese registered his first career interception and also picked up a game-high nine solo tackles. On top of that, the rookie linebacker added one tackle for loss and three passes defensed.

TREMAINE-EDMUNDS

LB Tremaine Edmunds

Edmunds did a little bit of everything in the Week 4 win. The veteran linebacker finished with nine total tackles (eight solo) and a sack to go with two tackles for loss and one quarterback hit.

ISAIAH-LIKELY

TE Isaiah Likely

Likely continued his strong start to the season with a team-high seven receptions, which he took for 66 yards, on 12 targets.

THEO-JOHNSON

TE Theo Johnson

Johnson may have only been targeted once on Sunday, but he made it count. The third-year tight end hauled in an 11-yard pass from Jameis Winston for a touchdown.

ABDUL-CARTER

OLB Abdul Carter

Carter found himself in the backfield often against the Cardinals. The second-year outside linebacker finished with three quarterback hits while generating a pressure on nine of his 37 pass rushes. Not only was this the most pressures Carter has had in a game in his young career, but his 0.70-second pass rush get-off time was also the second-fastest in his career.

Additionally, eight of his nine pressures were quick pressures (under 2.5 seconds), which was the most quick pressures recorded in a game by anyone this season.

DOMINIC-ZVADA

K Dominic Zvada

Zvada continued his perfect start to the season with another impressive performance. The undrafted rookie kicker made all three of his field goal attempts, including two from 50+ yards out, and also made his lone extra point attempt. Zvada has now made all nine of his field goal attempts to begin his NFL career.

GREG-NEWSOME

CB Greg Newsome II

Newsome grabbed his first interception as a Giant in Week 4, one of two passes defensed for the veteran cornerback. He also finished tied for third on the team with seven total tackles (four solo).
