The New York Giants have signed quarterback Brandon Allen.
Allen, 6-2 and 209 pounds, was originally a sixth-round selection (No. 201 overall) by Jacksonville in 2016. He has appeared in 19 games with 10 starts in his career and has spent time with the Jaguars (2016-17), Rams (2017-19), Broncos (2019-20), Bengals (2020-23), 49ers (2023-25), and Titans (2025).
He has completed 183 of 323 passes (56.7 percent) for 1,882 yards with 11 touchdowns to nine interceptions.
As a member of the Broncos, he won his first career start in his NFL debut on Nov. 3, 2019 and threw a career-long 75-yard touchdown to tight end Noah Fant. It was Allen's first of two career touchdowns of 70+ yards. He also threw a 72-yard touchdown to wide receiver Tyler Boyd in 2020 while playing for Cincinnati, whose offensive coordinator at the time was current Giants passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan.
Allen also played for Callahan when he was head coach of the Titans last season.
Prior to the NFL, Allen totaled 7,463 passing yards at the University of Arkansas, which ranked third in program history. He made 38 career starts, including his final 34 games, the longest streak for an Arkansas quarterback since joining the SEC in 1992. He also finished second in program history in career pass completions (583), second in attempts (1,016) and third in completion percentage (57.4). He was a Manning Passing Academy counselor as a senior in 2015.
Allen becomes the third quarterback on the Giants' roster as the team gears up for spring practices, joining Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston.
