Here's a look at the state of the NFC East after 11 weeks:

Washington Redskins (6-4, 2-0 NFC East)

- Washington fell to Houston, 23-21, but still sit one game ahead in the division.

- Midway through the third quarter, quarterback Alex Smith was sacked and suffered a broken leg. Smith is out for the season and will be replaced by Colt McCoy. 

- After stepping in, McCoy went 6-for-12 for 54 yards and a touchdown to tight end Jordan Reed on McCoy's first throw of the game. 

- Running back Adrian Peterson rushed 16 times for 54 yards and two touchdowns, including one that put the Redskins up 21-20 late in the fourth quarter. 

- Inactives for the game: WR Jamison Crowder, DT Caleb Brantley, CB Quinton Dunbar, LB Pernell McPhee, RB Samaje Perine, RB Chris Thompson and OT Trent Williams. 

- The Redskins head to Dallas to take on the Cowboys on Thanksgiving at 4:30 p.m..

Dallas Cowboys (5-5, 2-1 NFC East)

- Dallas defeated Atlanta, 22-19, on a Brett Maher field goal from 42 yards out.   

- Quarterback Dak Prescott went 22-for-32 for 208 yards and a rushing touchdown. Running back Ezekiel Elliot had 23 carries for 122 yards and a touchdown, along with seven catches for 79 yards. 

- Starting his sixth game of the season for linebacker and captain Sean Lee, rookie Leighton Vander Esch recorded eight tackles (four solo) and three passes defensed along with an interception, which set up a Cowboys touchdown. He is the first Cowboys linebacker since 2013 to record an interception in back-to-back games, the last to do it being Lee. 

- The Cowboys' second straight win puts them one game out of the division lead. 

- Inactives for the game: WR Tavon Austin, DE Taco Charlton, DT David Irving, OLB Sean Lee, DT Daniel Ross, QB Mike White and DT Antwaun Woods.

- The Cowboys host the Redskins on Thanksgiving at 4:30 p.m., which will be a battle for the top spot in the division.

Philadelphia Eagles (4-6, 1-1 NFC East)

- Philadelphia lost to red-hot New Orleans, 48-7, on the road. 

- Quarterback Carson Wentz struggled, going 19-for-33 for 156 yards and three interceptions. The only points scored came on a 28-yard scamper by running back Josh Adams, who finished with 72 yards from scrimmage. 

- Wide Receiver Golden Tate led the team with five catches for 48 yards. 

- Center Jason Kelce left the game with an elbow injury, rookie safety Avonte Maddox with a knee injury, cornerback Rasul Douglas with a knee injury, and long snapper Rick Lovato left with a head injury. 

- Inactives for the game: DB Deiondre' Hall, OT Jordan Mailata, CB Jalen Mills, OT Matt Pryor, RB Darren Sproles, QB Nate Sudfeld and OG Chance Warmack. 

- The Eagles return home on Sunday to take on the Giants at 1 p.m.

New York Giants (3-7, 0-3 NFC East)

- The Giants defeated Tampa Bay at home, 38-35.

- Quarterback Eli Manning went 17-for-18 for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Manning tied a career-best with 11 straight completions to start the game. 

- Running back Saquon Barkley had a career-high 27 carries for 142 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to two catches for 10 yards and a score. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. finished with four catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. 

- The defense had four interceptions from safety Michael Thomas, linebacker Alec Ogletree, safety Curtis Riley and cornerback B.W. Webb. Ogletree returned his for a touchdown and Webb's interception sealed the victory with 13 seconds left in the game. 

- The Giants have now won two straight games, their first winning streak since December of 2016.  

- Inactives for the game: C Evan Brown, WR Jawill Davis, DT John Jenkins, QB Kyle Lauletta, DB Tony Lippett, DT RJ McIntosh and CB Kamrin Moore.

- The Giants look to extend their winning streak to three games as they head to Philly to take on the Eagles on Sunday at 1 p.m.
