2026 NFL Draft order set: Giants own 7 picks

2026-DRAFT-ORDER

The complete and official order for the 2026 NFL Draft has been set.

The news came with Monday's announcement from the league that a total of 33 compensatory draft selections were awarded to 15 teams. The Giants, who picked up an extra third-round choice in 2025 and used it in a package to trade up for Jaxson Dart, did not receive one this year.

A team losing more free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. The compensatory picks are positioned by value within the third through seventh rounds. Compensatory free agents are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time, and postseason honors.

The Giants will operate with seven total picks, including three in the sixth round.

2026 New York Giants Draft Picks

  • Round 1 – No. 5
  • Round 2 – No. 37
  • Round 4 – No. 105
  • Round 5 – No. 145
  • Round 6 – No. 186
  • Round 6 – No. 192 (from MIA)
  • Round 6 – No. 193 (from DAL)

The 91st edition of the NFL Draft will be hosted in Pittsburgh for the first time since 1948. A total of 257 picks will be spread over seven rounds and three days from April 23-25 at Point State Park and Acrisure Stadium.

New for 2026, the time between first-round selections has been shortened from 10 minutes to eight minutes. It's the first timing adjustment since 2008, when the allotment dropped from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.
