With less than two weeks to go until free agency and the start of the new league year, the NFL has announced the 2026 salary cap at $301.2 million per club.
It marks the third consecutive year a new record number has been set after the salary cap reached $279.2 million in 2025 and $255.4 million in 2024.
Unlike last year, the Giants enter the offseason without a big need at the most important position following the strong rookie season from Jaxson Dart.
"It is nice to have that piece in place to have a rookie quarterback that played well his rookie year and know who you're going to build around," general manager Joe Schoen told the media at the combine earlier this week. "So, yeah, it's an exciting time for us and some of the other young, core pieces that we have. So you're really going to build it around Jaxson, new head coach, and some other changes within the organization."
While the main focus in Indianapolis this week is on the prospects in the draft, the combine is also where the upcoming free agency begins to take shape.
"You do learn about the free agent landscape," head coach John Harbaugh added earlier this week.
Following a two-day negotiating period, the 2026 league year and signing period will begin at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11. As the Giants approach those checkpoints, here is a look at which players are set to become free agents:
