Andrew Thomas, the Giants' starting left tackle, has not played since he suffered a season-ending foot injury on Oct. 13, 2024. Thomas continues to do more in practice each week, including taking team reps, but was listed as doubtful on the final injury report in Weeks 1 and 2.

Linebacker Micah McFadden was quickly ruled out this week after being carted off with a foot injury in the season opener. McFadden was later placed on injured reserve. In a corresponding move, the Giants claimed wide receiver and returner Xavier Gipson off waivers from the Jets.

Linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles was also ruled out after he aggravated a calf injury in practice this week. He did not make the trip with the team to Dallas.

Defensive lineman Rakeem Nuñez-Roches Sr. (foot) was doubtful while wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (ankle) was questionable. Fellow wide receivers Malik Nabers (back) and Darius Slayton (groin) also appeared on the injury report but had no gameday designation, meaning they were good to go.

The Giants activated linebacker Swayze Bozeman and defensive lineman Elijah Garcia (his second consecutive elevation) from the practice squad.

From the Cowboys' side, cornerback DaRon Bland will not play due to a foot injury. After he was named All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl in 2023, Bland missed the first 10 weeks of last season due to a stress fracture in his foot.

On Saturday, Dallas signed wide receiver Ryan Flournoy from the practice squad and elevated defensive backs Zion Childress and Robert Rochell.
