CB Paulson Adebo designated for return; OL Josh Sills signed to active roster

PAULSON-ADEBO-PRIMEPOINT

Cornerback Paulson Adebo has been designated for return from injured reserve and practiced Wednesday in a limited capacity. Offensive lineman Josh Sills, who has appeared in 21 career games over three seasons, was also signed to the active roster from the Colts' practice squad.

The Giants (3-2-1) are gearing up for a Week 7 matchup with the Texans (2-4).

Adebo was placed on injured reserve with a knee issue on Sept. 18 in the wake of the season-opening win against the Cowboys. Once a player is designated for return, the team has 21 days to add him to the active roster or place him on season-ending injured reserve.

Following Sunday's game in Houston, the Giants go on their bye week.

Adebo's return comes after Greg Newsome II suffered a concussion last week against the Saints. Newsome had been the only member of the secondary other than safety Jevón Holland to start all six games.

Adebo started all 12 games in which he played for the Giants in 2025 after spending his first four seasons in New Orleans. Adebo did not start Week 1 – Newsome and Deonte Banks did – but played 10 defensive snaps and eight more on special teams. He recorded three solo tackles, including one on kickoff coverage.
