3 p.m. -- Coach John Harbaugh provided further thoughts and updates from Saturday's preseason victory. OL Francis Mauigoa and CB Colton Hood, two members of the 2026 draft class, are expected to return to practice this week. OL Joshua Ezeudu will be "OK." He got kicked in the back of the leg. He's day-to-day as it doesn't appear long-term. "Hopefully he'll be playing Friday night" in the preseason finale against the Jets.
Harbaugh said WR Malik Nabers shedding the red non-contact practice jersey is a "possibility" this week but "not a necessity." They will see how he feels tomorrow. There is still time before the Sept. 13 season opener.
Harbaugh said the goal was to have rookie J.C. Davis, a sixth-round pick, play a whole game at left tackle. They wanted to put him in that situation and see how he handled it. "He did it. He did it well." He had a lot of plus plays and graded out well.
"It's a tough position to play in," Harbaugh said. "And a guy like AT (Andrew Thomas) would have had first-round expectations and all that, and that's another layer to the whole thing. J.C. doesn't have that. He doesn't have that layer to it that AT had, but he's going to be expected to play a role on the team and it's going to be a very important role and he could be in there at any time really, so he's got to be ready for that. And hopefully – you're right, you'd like to get off to a good start, but man, the bullets start flying in an NFL game with the type of players you're playing against, the speed that things hit you with, and they certainly test you as a rookie. They find out how fast you can think and adjust and make changes on the move, and so that's the things that I think you have to deal with. Obviously, once you've seen those things you're better at it, so – and things happen so fast for the offensive line, probably more so than any other position ."

6:59 p.m. -- The Giants looked ferocious in the joint practice with the Dolphins on Thursday and built on that at Hard Rock Stadium, where they won 26-3 on Saturday to claim their first victory under the new head coach. Soon, the games will count.
"Appreciate the effort by the guys," coach John Harbaugh said. "I thought we did a lot of things really well. I like the way we handled having the lead in terms of continuing to play in such a way as to extend the lead. That's really important to learn how to do that as a team. We did that. I do believe we're a better team than we were Wednesday when we came down here. That was the goal. And now we move forward."
The Giants, who have now practiced in three different states along the Eastern Seaboard this summer, will resume training camp in East Rutherford before their preseason finale against the Jets on Friday. Two days later, the initial 53-man roster must be announced by 6 p.m. ET. Then, it's all systems go for the Sunday night home opener against the Cowboys on Sept. 13.
The New York Giants came away with a 26-3 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 of the preseason.
