NOTES TO KNOW

• DeVito became the first Giants rookie quarterback to win three straight starts since Phil Simms won 4 in a row in 1979…He was just the 3rd undrafted rookie quarterback since the 1970 merger to win 3 starts in a season, joining Ed Rubbert, who won 3 strike-replacement games for Washington in 1987, and Pittsburgh's Devlin Hodges in 2019.
• For three straight weeks in 2023 (Weeks 11-14, not including Week 13 which was the bye week), DeVito recorded a 100-plus passer rating, making him the first UDFA rookie since 1970 to have 3 consecutive games with a passer rating higher than 100…Became the first Giants quarterback since Eli Manning in 2014 to record 3 straight games with a 100-plus passer rating.

• Spent five years at Syracuse – including a redshirt season in 2017 – before transferring to Illinois for his final season in 2022.

PERSONAL

• Grew up in Cedar Grove, N.J., 15 minutes from Giants headquarters.
• Threw for 3,800 yards and 35 touchdowns at Don Bosco Prep… As a junior, led his team to a 9-3 record and the 2015 New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 state title... The Ironmen defeated St. Joseph of Montvale in the championship game played in MetLife Stadium.
