The Giants today placed cornerback Paulson Adebo on injured reserve and signed Nikko Reed, another cornerback, to the active roster from the Chargers' practice squad.

Adebo, who will miss at least the next four games, appeared on Monday's injury report with a knee issue and did not practice.

The veteran cornerback recorded two tackles among 10 defensive snaps on Sunday night against Dallas, and another tackle among eight reps on special teams.

Adebo has started 63 games in his career, including 12 in his first season with the Giants in 2025.

Reed, 5-10 and 180 pounds, played in five games as an undrafted rookie last season for Jim Harbaugh's Chargers, primarily contributing on special teams. The Giants fly Saturday to Los Angeles ahead of their Monday night matchup with the Rams.

Reed played in 49 games (15 starts) with Oregon (2023-24) and Colorado (2021-22). He earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by coaches and media. He also recorded a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown as a freshman in 2021.
