ROSTER-MOVE-PRIMEPOINT

With training camp set to begin on Wednesday, the New York Giants signed defensive lineman Marlon Davidson and tight end Tyler Moore.

Davidson and Moore take the two spots on the roster that were opened up after the team waived linebacker Cam Jones and defensive lineman C.J. Ravenell (non-football injury) on Saturday.

Davidson has played in 25 games with four starts since entering the NFL in 2020. His career totals include 40 total tackles (20 solo), two sacks, three tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one fumble recovery, two passes defensed, and one interception which he returned for a touchdown.

The 6-foot-3, 278-pound lineman was originally a second-round pick (No. 47 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He has spent time with the Falcons (2020-2022), San Francisco 49ers (2023), Tennessee Titans (2023-2024), and Houston Texans (2025).

Prior to entering the NFL, Davidson played four seasons at Auburn (2016-2019), where he was named first-team All-SEC during his senior campaign. He finished his Auburn career with 51 starts, 175 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss and 17.0 sacks.

Moore went undrafted this year after 45 games at Iowa State.

The 6-foot-5, 255-pound tight end played one game as a true freshman before redshirting the rest of the season. Over the next four years, Moore caught 21 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns.

Moore made the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll nine semesters during his time at Iowa State and was also named Academic All-Big 12 each year from 2022-2025.
