The New York Giants have re-signed right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor.

Eluemunor, who played 1,000+ snaps for the first time in his career in 2025, was set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Now entering his 10th NFL season, Eluemunor has played in 118 regular-season games with 76 starts – 57 at right tackle, 13 at left tackle, and six at right guard – for Baltimore (2017-18), New England (2019-20), Las Vegas (2021-23), and the Giants (2024-25).

Eluemunor's return also marks a reunion with John Harbaugh, whose Ravens originally selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team in his first of two seasons with Baltimore.

"Well, I'm nowhere close to the player I was back then, I can tell you that," Eluemunor said. "Coach Harbs is the type of guy that's going to love you hard, but he's going to coach you harder. And like I said, he's going to hold you accountable for everything. He's going to hold you to a certain standard and a certain expectation when you're practicing out there, the way you carry yourself, the way you represent the franchise, and just the way you are as a person. He wants great players, but he also wants great men and great people, and he's a big believer in that. I think that's something he's done great job of throughout his career and how long I've known him.

"As for the player, obviously I wasn't a good enough player back when I was in Baltimore, that's why they traded me. But again, standing in front of Harbs and telling him the player I've become and the player I'm going to be in the future, it was really cool just to be able to sit in front of him and just see him again and let him see the man I've become. Because I was, back when I got drafted, obviously that was almost 10 years ago now, or I guess it will be 10 years ago this season. So, I've grown a lot, matured a lot, and coming into my own as a player and as a person, and I'm just really glad that Coach Harbs gets to see that."

Eluemunor, 6-4 and 338 pounds, started all 16 games in which he played for the Giants in 2025. He has provided continuity to a unit that helped pave the way for one of the league's best rushing attacks.

The Giants last season ranked among the top five in rushing touchdowns, rushing yards, rushing first downs, and runs of 10+ yards. Their 22 rushing touchdowns are the third-most in franchise history.

He also blocked for Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo, who became the second rookie quarterback and running back duo to score 40+ points each in the same season since 1950. Dart's 2,272 passing yards are the second-most by a Giants rookie while his 487 rushing yards are the most.

JERMAINE-ELUEMUNOR-SIGNED

In his first season with the Giants in 2024, Eluemunor started the first nine games at right tackle and last six at left tackle in the wake of a season-ending injury to Andrew Thomas.

In his final season with Las Vegas in 2023, Eluemunor played in all 17 games with 14 starts, including 12 at right tackle and two at left tackle.

In 2022, he started a career-high 17 games – 15 at right tackle and one each at left tackle and right guard. He was part of an offensive line that helped the Raiders rush for 2,059 yards, their highest total since 2011.

Prior to the NFL, Eluemunor played 25 games with 13 starts in two years at Texas A&M after transferring from Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa.

A London native, Eluemunor didn't play American football until he attended Morris Knolls High School in Denville, N.J.

The first football game he ever saw was the NFL's debut in London, where the Giants defeated the Dolphins, 13-10, at Wembley Stadium. It was late October of 2007 and Eluemunor, who had spent his life in England up to that point, was about to turn 13. Ten years later, he made his NFL debut for the Ravens against the Jaguars at none other than Wembley Stadium.

"I'm really grateful for the Giants franchise for believing in me and giving me the contract that they did, which is a blessing," Eluemunor said. "So for me the work's not done, it's just started because now a whole new different pressure gets put on your shoulders, where you need to produce because you need to show the fans and the franchise and the coaches and the GM and the owners that you are worth it of the money that they're investing in you. Because that's what it is, it's an investment. So now for me my job now is to show that their investment was worthwhile. And the whole family aspect of it, I feel like I've finally been able to secure my future for my family, which is a blessing and an honor, and I'm truly grateful for that. But the other side of that is now there's a whole new pressure where I need to go out there and continue to do what I've been doing, but to a higher standard now, and I'm really excited that I get the opportunity to do that."
