Giants sign DL Kobe Smith; WR Dre Miller waived/injured

ROSTER-MOVE

The New York Giants signed defensive lineman Kobe Smith.

In a corresponding move, the team waived/injured wide receiver Dre Miller.

Smith went undrafted in 2020 before signing with the Tennessee Titans. Over the last three seasons, he has spent time with the Titans (2020), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-21), Philadelphia Eagles (2022) and Atlanta Falcons (2022). He has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

The 6-foot-2, 312-pound defensive lineman spent four seasons at South Carolina prior to entering the NFL. He played in 48 games with 17 starts and registered 84 tackles (38 solo), seven tackles for loss and two sacks with seven quarterback hurries.
