The following players will not suit up for the Week 8 matchup between the Giants and Eagles in Philadelphia.

The Giants will play without half of their starting secondary.

The Giants had originally ruled out cornerback Paulson Adebo (knee) and defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (neck) on the final injury report of the week. Safety Jevón Holland was listed as doubtful with a knee injury but then downgraded to out. All three players did not travel with the team to Philadelphia.

Outside linebacker Brian Burns (hip), defensive lineman D.J. Davidson (ankle) and Graham Gano (groin) were questionable heading into the game.

Gano returned to practice this week and was activated off injured reserve.

Gano suffered a groin injury in final warmups leading up to Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs in Week 3. The veteran has made all six of his field goal attempts this season, with a long of 55 yards in Week 1, and all four extra points.

Jude McAtamney, who kicked for Gano the past four weeks, was waived on Tuesday among a series of roster moves. The Giants also have veteran kicker Younghoe Koo on the practice squad.

Wide receiver Darius Slayton, who missed two games with a hamstring injury, is set to make his return.

The Giants will also get back center John Michael Schmitz, who cleared concussion protocol. He last played in the Giants' Week 6 victory over the Eagles.

On Saturday, the Giants elevated wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey and safety Raheem Layne from the practice squad.

The Eagles, meanwhile, ruled out wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (concussion), center Cam Jurgens (knee), and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring), and defensive end Brandon Graham, who recently came out of retirement.

Philadelphia also activated wide receiver Darius Cooper from injured reserve.
