12:30 p.m. -- Interim head coach Mike Kafka said QB Jaxson Dart is still in the concussion protocol but will be a full participant in today's practice. DL Dexter Lawrence (elbow), OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (shoulder), and ILB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (neck) will not practice today.
"We had the same plan that we had last week," Kafka said. "We'll kind of carry that into this week and then just really see what ends up happening throughout the process with Jaxson being in the protocol."
Tuesday, Nov. 25
5:06 p.m. -- The Giants signed CB Myles Purchase to the practice squad.
11 a.m. -- For the 10th time this season, a Giants rookie is being recognized. DL Darius Alexander has been nominated for Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week after picking up four total tackles and two sacks against the Lions in Week 12. It was the first two full sacks of Alexander's NFL career. The third-round pick from Toledo is now up to 2.5 sacks on the season, which is tied for the fourth-most among all rookies.
Both of his sacks came in the first half, making him the first Giants rookie since DE Jason Pierre-Paul (2010) to record two sacks in the first half of a game. Alexander joins QB Jaxson Dart and RB Cam Skattebo in earning a nomination for the weekly rookie award. Dart was nominated after each of his first six starts and was also named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. Meanwhile, Skattebo earned a nomination three times before his season-ending ankle injury in Week 8.

9 a.m. -- Eli Manning took another step closer to Canton. The Giants' two-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback is among 26 candidates in the Modern-Era Players category to reach the Semifinalist stage for possible election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. It is the second time Manning has made this round in his two years of eligibility.
The list of Modern-Era Player Semifinalists began as a group of 128 nominees announced in September. The next step will be another vote to cut the list to 15 Finalists late this year. Reduction voting also has occurred in the Coach, Contributor, and Seniors categories. The results of those ballots will be announced Dec. 3. Tom Coughlin, who was Manning's head coach for his first 183 regular-season and 11 postseason starts, advanced earlier this month to the final nine.
Monday, Nov. 24
4:45 p.m. -- The Giants released K Jude McAtamney and signed TE Maximilian Mang, another international player exemption, to the practice squad.
10 a.m. -- Shane Bowen was relieved of his duties, and OLB coach Charlie Bullen will take over his role as the Giants' defensive coordinator. The Giants lost their sixth consecutive game on Sunday in Detroit, falling to 2-10 on the season. Bowen's departure marks another significant change to the coaching staff. Brian Daboll was dismissed two weeks ago, with Mike Kafka taking over as interim head coach. Kafka then named tight ends coach Tim Kelly to fill his previous role as offensive coordinator.
Bowen was in his second season as defensive coordinator, a position he previously held for three years with the Tennessee Titans. The Giants' next game is a trip to Foxborough to face the 10-2 New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. The team will then go on its bye in Week 14.
"I have a lot of faith in Charlie and obviously these decisions aren't easy and Shane's a good person," Kafka said Monday morning. "He's a good man. He's a good coach. Just the results just weren't where we wanted them to be and so Charlie's going to step up for us and rally the group. The defensive staff will rally around Charlie and put together a great plan. I got a lot of confidence in the room and a lot of confidence in our staff to do that."
