John Harbaugh, who has the 14th-most wins in NFL history and led the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl title, was named the 21st head coach of the New York Football Giants on January 20th, 2026.
Harbaugh was head coach for 180 of Baltimore's 276 regular-season wins in franchise history. Those victories led to 12 playoff berths in 18 seasons, including six division titles, four AFC Championship Game appearances, and his crowning achievement in Super Bowl XLVII.

Chris Horton spent 12 consecutive seasons on Harbaugh’s staff in Baltimore, including the last seven as special teams coordinator. In Football Outsiders' annual special teams DVOA ratings, a metric for analyzing each play against NFL averages based on several variables, Baltimore posted seven Top 5 marks and six Top 3 marks, with three No. 1 finishes since 2015, when Horton joined the special teams staff.

Matt Nagy is in his 17th season in the NFL and first as the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants. He arrives in East Rutherford after spending the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played an integral role in the Chiefs’ winning consecutive Super Bowls in 2022 and 2023.

Dennard Wilson is entering his first season as the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants after spending the previous two seasons in the same role with the Tennessee Titans. He brings 14 years of NFL coaching experience to East Rutherford.
