Native of Inverness, Scotland who moved to the United States as a teenager…Nicknamed "The Scottish Hammer" by his high school football coach…Grew up playing rugby and played for Highland Rugby Club, before attending and playing rugby for Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh…Did not play football until midway through his senior season at Leonardtown (Md.)
