Giants add Leki Fotu to defensive line room

LEKI-FOTU-SIGNED

The New York Giants have signed Leki Fotu, their second addition to the defensive line since the draft ended. Earlier, they signed Shelby Harris, who has played 146 games in the NFL.

The 6-foot-5, 317-pound Fotu has played in 66 games with 26 starts for the Arizona Cardinals (2020-2023), New York Jets (2024), Las Vegas Raiders (2025) and Houston Texans (2025). His career totals include 103 tackles (46 solo), 15 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, eight quarterback hits, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three passes defensed.

Originally a fourth-round pick of the Cardinals (No. 114 overall), Fotu started 21 games across his four seasons with Arizona, where he picked up 3.5 of his sacks and 12 of his tackles for loss.

His most productive season came in 2023 when he registered 2.5 sacks and five tackles for loss in just 11 games before suffering a broken bone in his hand, which caused him to miss some time.

Prior to entering the NFL, Fotu spent four years at Utah and was twice named first-team All-Pac 12 (2018-19). He finished his collegiate career with 4.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss, most of which he registered in his senior season.
