Giants sign FB Grant Finley; TE Tyler Moore waived

ROSTER-MOVE

The New York Giants have signed fullback Grant Finley and waived tight end Tyler Moore.

Finley spent four seasons at Missouri Western where he played primarily on the defensive line with some time at fullback. He was named third-team All-MIAA in 2024 after starting all 11 games and totaling 29 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and a team-high five sacks to go with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a pass breakup.

He followed that up this past season with 21 combined tackles (nine solo), six tackles for loss totaling 33 yards, two sacks, one fumble recovery and five pass breakups, in addition to one blocked kick on special teams. This earned him second-team All-MIAA honors.

Finley measured in at 6-foot-4, 281 pounds at the Missouri Western Pro Day, where he worked out at both defensive tackle and fullback. He ran a 4.88 40-yard dash with a 32.5-inch vertical and a 9-feet, 11-inch broad jump.

His 9.60 Relative Athletic Score, out of a possible 10.0, ranked 92 out of 2,270 defensive tackle prospects from 1987 to 2026, according to RAS Football.

Finley participated in the Giants' rookie minicamp back in May.

The Giants signed Moore, an undrafted free agent, right before the start of training camp last week.
