Thursday, Sept. 18

12:41 p.m. -- Coach Brian Daboll said LT Andrew Thomas (foot) is doing well coming out of yesterday and has taken the next step in his progression. He took a lot of reps and will take a lot of them again today. "So, it's a good sign." It's a positive that they don't have to back off him after a day like that. DL Chauncey Golston (ankle) and LB Darius Muasau (concussion/eye) will not practice today.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

5:11 p.m. -- The Giants signed CB LaMareon James to the practice squad and released CB Dee Williams. James, 5-10 and 193 pounds, was released from the Browns' practice squad on Tuesday. Prior to that, he was Honorable-Mention All-Sun Belt Conference in 2023 at Old Dominion as a cornerback and kickoff returner. The 23-year-old averaged 4.1 yards per carry while picking up three first downs. He averaged 3.18 yards after contact per attempt, according to Pro Football Focus, and forced three missed tackles. Monday, Sept. 15

1:30 p.m. -- Coach Brian Daboll said rookie OL Marcus Mbow did "a lot of good things" in his first real performance. There are things to clean up for the fifth-round pick, but he's a young professional who has worked on his craft. Mbow entered the game at left tackle in place of James Hudson III on the second drive and played 51 snaps on offense (76.1 percent).

9:41 a.m. -- QB Russell Wilson was nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week. During Sunday's overtime thriller in Dallas, Wilson completed 30 of 41 pass attempts (73.2 percent) for 450 yards, three touchdowns, one interception and a quarterback rating of 123.0. The 450 passing yards are the second-most in his illustrious career and tied with Eli Manning for the fourth-highest total in franchise history.
