NOTES TO KNOW

Tracy (1,123 yards from scrimmage) and wide receiver Malik Nabers (1,206 yards from scrimmage) became the 3rd rookie duo in NFL history to each reach 1,000 scrimmage yards, joining the 2006 New Orleans Saints (Marques Colston and Reggie Bush) and the 1960 Dallas Texans (Abner Haynes and Johnny Robinson)…He also became just the second running back in Giants franchise history to reach 1,000 scrimmage yards.
In his first two career starts, Tracy combined for 237 yards from scrimmage (130 at Seattle and 107 vs. Cincinnati) which were the 4th-most by a Giant since 1970 and the most since running back Derrick Ward had 245 yards in his first two starts in 2007.

Tracy played wide receiver for four seasons at Iowa and one at Purdue before switching to running back in his final season with the Boilermakers…Played in 63 collegiate games with 30 starts, including 25 games with 14 starts for Purdue…Career totals include 146 rushing attempts for 947 yards (6.5-yard avg.) and 10 touchdowns, plus 113 receptions for 1,201 yards and 5 scores…Averaged 25.2 yards on 17 kickoff returns in his final two seasons.

OFF-THE-FIELD ACTIVITY

Partnered with the American Heart Association to encourage students to be active for 60 minutes a day while creating healthy habits and presented the school with a $1,500 equipment grant at Hoover Elementary School in Bergenfield, NJ… Joined the Paterson Wildcats youth tackle and girls flag football teams for a clinic in the Quest Diagnostic Training Center and surprised the team with a $10,000 equipment grant thanks to Dunkin'… Continued the annual rookie Thanksgiving tradition at Eva's Village to prepare and serve lunch for the community members of Eva's Village in Paterson, N.J.… After the team practice in Germany prior to the Sunday game, met with the 120 students that participated in the NFL Flag clinic… Met with members from the Wounded Warriors Project during their visit to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center to watch practice and enjoy a day with the Giants… Joined Project Kind, an organization to support those experiencing homelessness, to host an event with 125 people from the organization for a day of haircuts, spa treatments and lunch at MetLife stadium… Hosted the boys from the Far Rockaway and Harlem Giants that were graduating middle school for a day at the training facility filled with character building activities, lunch in the team cafeteria and different games in the field house… To celebrate Halloween, dressed in costume to visit patients and distribute giftbags at Hackensack University Medical Center's Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital.

Graduated in May 2023 with a degree in communications… Father (Tyrone Sr.) starred at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis before a prolific career at Division II Fort Hays State (1986-89), in which he set school records for all-purpose yards in a season and career (he was inducted into Fort Hays State's Hall of Fame in 2011).
Starred at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis…Gatorade Player of the Year in Indiana…Earned Offensive Player of the Year honors as a sophomore and senior…Named to Indiana Football Digest Top 25 and Indiana Football Coaches Association (IFCA) Top 50…First-team all-county, all-midstate, and all-state for three straight years…First-team all-midstate and all-county as a freshman…Four-year football letterman as running back, wide receiver, and defensive back…Helped team post four-year record of 35-8…Holds school records for receiving yards in a season (1,132) and career (2,643), becoming first player at Decatur Central with over 1,000 yards in a season…Set school records for receiving touchdowns in a season (16) and career (33), as well as total offensive touchdowns (70), total touchdowns (72), total points (444) and yards per rushing attempt in a season (11.5) and career (8.7).
As a senior in 2017, rushed for 1,412 yards and 13 touchdowns, to go with 54 receptions for 1,132 yards and 17 touchdowns.
As a junior, recorded 40 receptions for 651 yards and 9 touchdowns, while rushing for 296 yards and 4 touchdowns.
As a sophomore, rushed for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns, with 27 receptions for 680 yards and seven touchdowns…Added 336 kickoff return yards.
Team captain for three straight years…Also earned four letters in basketball and three in track as sprinter and long jumper.
