Notes and stats to know for the Week 4 matchup between the New York Giants (2-1) and Arizona Cardinals (1-2) at MetLife Stadium.
1.4
Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has a 1.4 career interception rate (33 interceptions in 2,363 attempts), the lowest in NFL history with a minimum of 1,500 pass attempts.

Since 1970, Jevón Holland is one of two NFL players with at least three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in the first three games of the season. Domingo Bryant, another safety, achieved the feat with the Houston Oilers in 1987. Holland was subsequently named NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.
Holland is the first Giants player to be so honored since Landon Collins became the team's first safety to win it in November 2016. The only other Giants defensive back to win the award was cornerback Jason Sehorn in December 1997. Before Collins, the most recent Giant to win was defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul in December 2011, the year the team went on to win Super Bowl XLVI.

For the third time in NFL history and excluding the inaugural 1920 season, six head coaches in their first year with a team have won at least two of their team's first three games of a season, according to NFL Research. The other seasons are 1925 (seven) and 2022 (seven). The six head coaches in 2026: John Harbaigh (Giants), Joe Brady (Bills), Klint Kubiak (Raiders), Mike McCarthy (Steelers), Jesse Minter (Ravens) and Todd Monken (Browns).

Sunday will be Brissett's fourth time starting against a John Harbaugh team, and he will do so with his fourth different franchise. Brissett, who was originally drafted by the Patriots in 2016, was 1-2 against the Ravens. He lost with the Colts in 2017 and with the Browns in 2022. The win occurred on Nov. 11, 2021, when Tua Tagovailoa took over for an injured Brissett in the second half.
4 x 2
There are now four sets of brothers who have each served as head coaches in NFL history:
| Brothers | Coach | Coach |
|---|---|---|
| Harbaugh | John (BAL 2008-25 / NYG 2026-Present) | Jim (SF 2011-14 / LAC 2024-Present) |
| LaFleur | Mike (AZ 2026-Present) | Matt (GB; 2019-Present) |
| Gruden | Jay (WAS 2014-19) | Jon (Oak-LV 1998-01 & 2018-21 / TB 2002-08) |
| Nesser | Al (Akron 1926) | Ted (Columbus 1920-21) |

The Giants forced a three-and-out on the Titans' first five possessions last week. It was the Giants' longest such streak in any game since at least 1991. The Giants also forced five consecutive three-and-out possessions in 2006 vs. Tampa Bay, 2003 at New England, and 2001 at Washington. Tennessee did not record a first down until 1:18 left in the first half. It was the fourth time the Giants held their opponent to one first down or fewer in any half since 1991.
6
Entering Week 3, teams who started a different quarterback from their opening game are 6-0. The list includes Jameis Winston (1-0 with Giants), Drew Lock (1-0 with Seahawks), Marcus Mariota (1-0 with Commanders), Case Keenum (1-0 with Bears), Michael Penix Jr. (1-0 with Falcons) and Carson Wentz (1-0 with Vikings). According to ESPN Insights, it's the most through three weeks since the 1970 merger (excluding the 1987 strike-shortened season).
10
John Harbaugh has started 3-1 a total of 10 times as a head coach and went on to make the playoffs in eight of those seasons.
12
In last week's 12-7 win over the Titans, Dominic Zvada became the sixth rookie to make all of his field goal attempts and account for all points scored in a win in the Super Bowl Era. Zvada is now perfect on six attempts this season in addition to four extra points.
55
The Giants have allowed 55 points so far this season, their fewest through three games since 2009 (48).
61
Since he entered the NFL in 2018, Tremaine Edmunds leads all linebackers with 61 passes defensed and 14 interceptions.
70
Jordan Stout is the first Giant ever to have multiple punts of 70 yards or more in the same season, let alone in back-to-back games. The 2025 All-Pro booted a 74-yarder in Week 3, six days after he had a 78-yarder against the Rams. They were the two longest in the NFL this season until Cleveland's Corey Bojorquez had an 81-yard punt on Thursday night against Pittsburgh.
100
Linebacker Arvell Reese has racked up 24 tackles without any misses, according to Next Gen Stats. He is one of six players and the only rookie this season to make 100 percent of his tackles (minimum 20 tackles).
