Notes and stats to get you ready for the NFC East matchup between the Giants (4-2-1) and Eagles (2-6) in Philadelphia.

1

Malik Nabers is the first wide receiver in franchise history to be named NFC Offensive Player of the Month and the seventh Giants player overall to earn the honor. He joined Tiki Barber (three-time winner), Kerry Collins (December, 2002), Brandon Jacobs (October, 2007), Eli Manning (November, 2008), David Meggett (September, 1994) and Phil Simms (December, 1986).

3

According to NFL Research, the Giants are the second team in NFL history and the first in the Super Bowl era to have three former first-round picks start multiple games at quarterback in the same season. The other was the 1951 Chicago Cardinals.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are on track to start their third different quarterback on Sunday. Joe Milton III will make his first career start three weeks after signing with the Eagles' practice squad. He replaces Tanner McKee, who took over for Jalen Hurts. Milton's last appearance was against the Giants in the 2025 season finale as a member of the Cowboys.

5

J.J. McCarthy has won his last five starts (dating back to Week 14 of 2025 with the Vikings), the longest active streak among quarterbacks in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers and Bo Nix are right behind him with four apiece.

6

After a 2-0 start, the Eagles have lost six consecutive games for the first time since 2012. Philadelphia has been outgained by 889 yards since Week 3, the worst differential in the NFL.

6.14

The Giants have allowed the second-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.14) in the NFL through eight weeks. Overall, the defense ranks third against the pass (184.9 yards allowed per game), ninth in total yards (313.0) and 15th in scoring (23.0).

10.1

McCarthy leads the NFL with 10.1 yards per pass attempt in 2026 (minimum 40 attempts).

13

The Giants have lost 13 consecutive games at Lincoln Financial Field, including one in the postseason. Their last victory at the venue was on Oct. 27, 2013.

15-3

John Harbaugh is 15-3 (.833) in games immediately following the bye week, the best winning percentage in NFL history with a minimum of 10 games.

32.9

The Giants' defense has forced a three-and-out on 32.9 percent of opponents' drives, the best mark in the NFL. The Eagles' offense has the highest three-and-out percentage in the league, also at 32.9 percent.

27 + 400

The Giants have scored at least 27 points and gained 400 or more yards in three straight games. It's their longest streak since a three-game run in Weeks 8-10 of 1963, according to NFL Research. Y.A. Tittle threw 11 touchdowns in that span en route to being named NFL MVP.
