Notes and stats to get you ready for Sunday's matchup between the Giants (2-5) and Eagles (5-2) at Lincoln Financial Field.
587: Running back Cam Skattebo leads all NFL rookies with 587 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns. The fourth-round pick has at least 90 yards from scrimmage in five consecutive games.
25.3: The Giants have averaged 25.3 points per game in Jaxson Dart's four starts. In the other 54 regular-season games since the start of 2022, the Giants averaged 17.7 points, a difference of 7.6 points.
94: The Giants have 94 first downs since Week 4, second only to the Chiefs for most in the NFL. The Giants' 48.2 percent conversion rate on third down is sixth in that span. The Giants also have a league-high 43 rushing first downs since Week 4, including 16 by Dart (most among NFL quarterbacks).
11: The Giants converted 11 third downs in the first leg of the season series with the Eagles, tied for the second-most in team history since 1991 (13 vs. NYJ in 1999). Conversely, they allowed just one third down conversion on defense in nine attempts by the Eagles.
2: The Eagles had two giveaways against the Giants. In their six other games, they turned the ball over just once. Week 6 included Jalen Hurts' only interception of the season. The Super Bowl LIX MVP had gone 304 consecutive attempts without an interception, which was the longest active streak in the league. Hurts was only the 10th quarterback ever to throw at least 300 consecutive passes without an interception, first in Eagles history, according to NFL Research.
158.3: Last week in Minnesota, Hurts pulled off the third perfect passer rating (158.3) in Eagles history (minimum 20 attempts).
2007: The Giants have not swept the Eagles in a season since 2007. The last Giants win at Lincoln Financial Field was on Oct. 27, 2013.
7: Each of the Eagles' five wins have been decided by seven points or fewer, the most such wins in the league this season. Only one of their games has been decided by more than one score --- the 34-17 loss to the Giants. The Eagles have also been outgained in yards in all seven games in 2025. They were outgained in six games in all of their 2024 championship season. According to NFL Research, it is the first time Philadelphia has been outgained in its first seven games since 1999.
9.0: Brian Burns has nine sacks in seven games, tied with the Rams' Byron Young for most in the NFL entering Week 8. That puts them both on pace for 22 sacks. The NFL single-season record is 22.5 sacks, shared by Michael Strahan (2001) and T.J. Watt (2021).
40 (& 33): The Giants scored 40 unanswered points from the second quarter of Week 6 against the Eagles to the start of the fourth quarter in Week 7 against the Broncos. The Giants, however, then gave up 33 points, the most they have allowed in a fourth quarter in franchise history.
3+1: Last week, Dart became the first Giants rookie quarterback with at least three touchdown passes and one rushing touchdown in the same game since Charlie Conerly, another Ole Miss product, in Week 10 of the 1948 season at Green Bay. Dart won the 2024 Conerly Trophy as the most outstanding college football player in Mississippi.
1 of 1: According to NFL Research, Dart can become the first rookie quarterback ever to sweep the reigning Super Bowl champion.
