Notes and stats to get you ready for the Week 15 matchup between the Giants and Commanders.
2.3: Jaxson Dart has averaged 2.3 offensive touchdowns per game as a starter in 2025. Only Matthew Stafford (2.7) and Josh Allen (2.6) have averaged more.
3: According to NFL Research, Dart is one of three rookies since 1950 with at least 16 offensive touchdowns and five or fewer giveaways in his first eight career starts (Dak Prescott 2016, Dan Marino 1983).
3.8: The Commanders allow a league-low 3.8 yards per punt return. The Giants fell to No. 23 in this category (12.6) after giving up a 94-yard punt return touchdown to New England's Marcus Jones. It was the second-longest punt return in the NFL this season, trailing only Tory Horton's 95-yard touchdown for Seattle in Week 3. That same week, Washington's Jaylin Lane returned a punt 90 yards for a score.
4: The Giants are the only team this season with four players each with 300+ rush yards (Tyrone Tracy Jr., Cam Skattebo, Dart, Devin Singletary).
8: The Commanders have lost eight consecutive games, the NFL's longest active losing streak. The Giants are next at seven games. In their previous outing, the Giants faced the Patriots, who have the league's longest active winning streak at 10 games. According to NFL Research, Sunday will be the fifth game in NFL history between teams each entering on a seven-game losing streak that season. The last such instance: Week 9, 2021, Texans at Dolphins.
13.0: Brian Burns, who is currently No. 1 in Pro Bowl fan balloting at outside linebacker, leads the NFC with a career-high 13.0 sacks. That puts him on pace for 17.0 sacks, which has been accomplished only three times in Giants history. Michael Strahan shares the NFL record with 22.5 in 2001 and recorded 18.5 in 2003. Lawrence Taylor had 20.5 in 1986.
26: The Commanders have allowed just 26 points in the final two minutes of halves, second-fewest in the NFL behind the Browns (19 points). The Giants have allowed 62 such points, sixth-most in the league.
28.1: Washington averages 28.1 yards per kickoff return, second-best in the league.
55: Wan'Dale Robinson leads the NFL with 55 catches on third down since the start of last season.
65.7: Washington has converted 65.7 percent of their red-zone drives into touchdowns, the fifth-best rate in the NFL.
81: Marcus Mariota is set to make his 81st regular-season start with Jayden Daniels sidelined due to an elbow injury. Mariota, another former No. 2 overall pick, won his only start against the Giants in 2018 while a member of the Titans.
109.7: Washington's opponents have an average passer rating of 109.7, the highest in the NFL.
136.5: Washington has the No. 4 rushing offense in the NFL, averaging 136.5 yards per game on the ground. The Giants have allowed 154.2 rushing yards per game, second-most in the NFL, and a league-high 5.78 yards per carry.
195: The Commanders have allowed a league-high 195 plays of 10+ yards. The Giants have given up the second-most (191).
