Practice No. 2 is in the books.
After the Giants opened training camp with work in the low red zone, they pulled the line of scrimmage back a little on Thursday and spent the day mostly in the high red zone. There was also 1-on-1 action for the first time this year, which led to plenty of highlights.
Here's everything you need to know:

TOUCHDOWNS
Thursday began with 1-on-1 drills inside the 10-yard line, where Russell Wilson threw three touchdowns. The first one went to tight end Theo Johnson, the next to wide receiver Darius Slayton, and then wide receiver Malik Nabers ran a nice route and made an even better catch as he fell backwards out of the right side of the end zone.
Staying in 1-on-1 action from close range, rookie Jaxson Dart threw five touchdowns, which included some nifty catches on the receiving end. The 25th overall pick found wide receivers Zach Pascal, Bryce Ford-Wheaton, and Montrell Washington for scores. Then tight end Thomas Fidone II, a rookie seventh-round draft choice, made one of the best catches of the day, snagging Dart's pass with one hand in the end zone. Shortly after that, undrafted rookie wide receiver Da'Quan Felton high-pointed another Dart pass for a touchdown.
At the same time, the other side of the field featured the running back passing game in 1-on-1 situations. Jameis Winston threw touchdowns to Devin Singletary, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Dante Miller. Tommy DeVito also threw touchdowns to rookie Cam Skattebo and Miller, who flashed his trademark "Turbo" speed.
Moving to 11-on-11 drills, Dart placed a pass nicely for wide receiver Jalin Hyatt to make the catch in the front right corner of the end zone.
Wilson is known for the moonball, but he can still fire a rocket, as he did to tight end Daniel Bellinger in the middle of the end zone. Then it was time for the 10-time Pro Bowler to show his patented deep ball on a touchdown to wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, who corralled it with one hand as he fell backwards in the end zone. Wilson also had a touchdown to Nabers in team drills.
Winston has found a connection with tight end Greg Dulcich, and the two recorded a pair of touchdowns. The first was the highest degree of difficulty as Dulcich somehow came up with the ball through a group of defenders.
TAKEAWAYS
Cornerback Dru Phillips, last year's third-round choice, grabbed the first of two interceptions for the defense on the day. Cornerback Tre Hawkins III notched the other on a short pass to the sideline.
TOP PLAYS
During 1-on-1 drills, safety Tyler Nubin and cornerbacks Deonte Banks and O'Donnell Fortune forced incompletions. On the other side of the field, the linebackers got in on the action, with Bobby Okereke (two), Micah McFadden, and Ty Summers breaking up passes.
There was about to be a No. 44 vs. No. 44 collision with Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles blowing up a run play on handoff to the rookie Skattebo.
Outside linebacker Brian Burns also timed up a snap perfectly for what would have been a tackle for loss.
Defensive lineman Elijah Garcia bottled up the quarterback on a play, which ended up going nowhere.
Outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux, whose offseason emphasis is to finish more plays (he had five half-sacks in 2024), notched a would-be sack in practice.
Cornerback Nic Jones, who had a pick-six on Day 1, came screaming off the edge for a would-be sack on one play.
Fellow cornerback Cor'Dale Flott poked the ball out on a play that likely would have been reviewed to determine if the receiver had possession first. Either way, it was a quality play.
