Originally a 3rd-round (99th pick overall) draft choice by the Giants in 2020. Peart started all 48 games in his four-year career at UConn – 24 at left tackle in his first 2 seasons and 24 at right tackle in his final 2 years…Anchored an offensive line that produced two 1,000-yard rushers in 2018 and another 1,000-yard rusher in 2019.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

Peart started all 48 games in his four-year career at UConn – 24 at left tackle in his first 2 seasons and 24 at right tackle in his final 2 years…Anchored an offensive line that produced two 1,000-yard rushers in 2018 and another 1,000-yard rusher in 2019.
In 2019, started all 12 games at right tackle…Helped running back Kevin Mensah rush for 1,013 yards…Honored as a 2019 first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection…Team captain and invitee to the 2020 Senior Bowl and NFL Combine.
In 2018, started all 12 games and was the top performer on a line that opened holes for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in quarterback David Pindell and Mensah…Offense ran for 322 yards at USF and a season-high 365 yards vs. SMU…The line helped the Huskies post 5 games with 400-plus yards of offense.
In 2017, started all 12 games and helped the UConn offense record eight 400+ yard games, including a season-high 596 yards at East Carolina.
As a redshirt freshman in 2016, Peart started in all 12 games...Helped the Huskies rush for 100 yards or more on 6 occasions and pass for more than 200 yards in 7 seven games, including a season-high 306 at USF.
In 2015, he redshirted.

PERSONAL:

Graduated in December 2019 with a degree in allied health science, a concentration in occupational therapy…Peart was born in Jamaica before immigrating to the United States with his family in 2002, settling in The Bronx…Early love was soccer before focusing on basketball for most of his childhood…Continued his basketball career and was a team captain at Governor's Academy in Byfield, Mass., a private boarding school where he also played track and lacrosse)…Was convinced to try football, a sport he had never played before and spent his freshman season on the J.V. squad and his sophomore year on the scout team…As a junior, started at defensive end and the following year also became the starting left tackle…Helped the team win 4 consecutive Independent School League titles...In Peart's senior season, the team went 7-2.
